Position Description: Perform machine operator tasks as related to starting the canning machine and maintaining the line. Monitor the machine and adjust as needed to complete production goals. Performs other duties directed by production manager and supervisors. Primary Responsibilities:
High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. 3+ years working on a canning line preferred. Communication Skills / Requirements: Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, peers and other employees. Have active listening skills, attention to detail and follow-through. Must demonstrate tact, professionalism, teamwork, flexibility, an organized approach to work and a positive attitude. Safety: All duties to be performed in compliance with the company guidelines and safety policies. PPE: MUST be worn and in designated areas. |
