Machine Operator

Global Gear & Machining seeks a Machine Operator for our second shift operation from 2 PM till 10:30 PM to support the GGM family, we are a gear manufacturer located in Downers Grove, IL. With easy access off of 355 expressway.

• Check and replenish the machine with proper fluids
• Loads and unloads parts correctly as instructed by the trainer
• Makes machine offsets to run parts to specs
• Follow disciplines with gauge measurements for each part
• Maintain accurate tool logs and adhere to preset tool change intervals
• Understands and complies with proper containment activities and defective product isolation
• Troubleshot basic machine alarms
• Perform the following category requirements proficiently, promptly, and without jeopardizing man, machine, or materials
• Pay range is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift premium.
