Pay: $23.25 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM; must be available for overtime and weekends

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a fast-paced bakery environment. In this role, you will operate and adjust production machinery to ensure the quality of baked goods, adhere to food safety and GMP standards, and keep a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable to shift requirements, and capable of working in a loud, hot, or cold environment while lifting up to 55 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery, making necessary adjustments to optimize product quality.
• Monitor equipment and report issues immediately to ensure continuous production.
• Fill out and accurately record daily production sheets.
• Follow food safety procedures, GMP standards, and quality protocols.
• Inspect finished products and machinery for issues affecting quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Push and pull equipment on rollers as needed.
• Perform math calculations, operate computers, and communicate using basic English.
• Work entire shift standing on your feet.
• Assist in maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prior experience as a Machine Operator in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to stand for the entire duration of the shift.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems.
• Capacity to work in hot, cold, and noisy conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with GMP and food safety standards.

• Ability to lift 55 pounds.
• Capable of standing for extended periods.
• Work in hot, cold, and noisy environments.
• May need to push or pull equipment on rollers.
