Job Title: Machine Operator II (Forming / Setup / Programmer)Department: FormingReports To: Forming SupervisorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPay Range: $24.00 – $30.00 per hourPosition SummaryThe Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating vacuum and pressure forming machines. This role ensures production meets quality standards by obtaining QA approval prior to full production runs. The position requires working with minimal supervision, following detailed work instructions, and contributing to continuous process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and program forming tools and equipmentOperate thermoforming and CNC machinesRetrieve and prepare materials from inventoryObtain quality control approval prior to productionInspect parts to ensure compliance with specificationsRecord production and inspection resultsTroubleshoot and adjust equipment to maintain quality standardsTrim and cut plastic components using hand routers or band sawsRetrieve and organize racks, pallets, and materialsAssemble boxes for scrap and waste materialsSegregate and process rejected partsEdit programs and implement process or tooling improvementsMaintain cleanliness of CNC, robotic, and forming equipment and work areasPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
