MLB Workforce is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for a full-time opportunity in the Charlotte area.We are looking for someone with solid hands-on CNC lathe experience who can safely set up and operate equipment, make basic adjustments, and consistently produce quality parts.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes / turning equipment
Load materials and properly position parts
Perform tooling changes and make basic machine adjustments
Read and understand blueprints and work specifications
Monitor machining operations for quality and accuracy
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Maintain required dimensions and tolerances
Identify basic tooling or machining issues
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
Previous CNC lathe experience required
Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment
Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications
Experience with precision measuring tools
Understanding of tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds preferred
Ability to work independently and maintain production standards
Steel, metal processing, or heavy industrial experience is a plus
Basic CNC program adjustments/editing are a plus, but advanced CNC programming is not required
