Machine Operator

Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Overtime Opportunities Available## Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring quality standards and production goals are met.## Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Setup

• Learn and operate production equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, binders, and web press machinery
• Set up equipment and prepare materials for production runs
• Adjust machine settings to ensure efficient operation and product quality
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary corrections during production

Production & Quality Control

• Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met
• Read and follow production specifications and quality requirements
• Monitor output and verify products meet customer and operational standards
• Maintain accurate production and quality records as required

Equipment Maintenance

• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
• Change blades, rollers, and other machine components as needed
• Lubricate machinery and assist with preventative maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all safety procedures and established manufacturing practices
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Safely operate material handling and production equipment
• Support continuous improvement efforts and workplace organization initiatives

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, printing, bindery, or industrial experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve production-related issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and operational procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout the workday
• Capability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks during shifts
