Machine Operator – Metal Manufacturing
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a metal fabrication company in La Vergne, TN! We are looking for dependable candidates with manufacturing or machine operating experience who are comfortable working with metal components, production equipment, and blueprints.
Pay: $17.50–$20.00/hr, depending on experience
1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday with mandatory overtime, including potential weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery used to cut, shape, form, or fabricate metal parts.
- Read and follow blueprints, measurements, and production specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and monitor machines during production.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints required.
- Experience with press machines, metal fabrication, or similar equipment preferred.
- Basic measuring skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
- Must be available for mandatory overtime.
