Machine Operator (Press Operator) 3rd Shift

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: 3rd shift (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

About the Role:

Join our manufacturing team as a Machine Operator, where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitter and adhesive coating machinery to produce high-quality adhesive coating products. This role involves precise handling of large rolls, measuring and cutting materials accurately, and ensuring consistent product quality throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload large rolls of adhesive film (over 5 feet in length) onto slitter and adhesive coating equipment
• Operate adhesive coating machinery with precision to apply film onto non-stick backing material
• Measure rolls and cut to specified lengths using tape measures according to product specifications
• Handle and position rolls carefully to prevent production errors
• Monitor machine operation for quality, consistency, and proper functionality throughout the shift
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
• Assist with machine setup and changeover of parts as needed during the shift
• Support team members and coordinate tasks to meet production goals

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience operating machining or slitter equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure and measure materials accurately
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Mature, steady demeanor with a reliable work ethic
• Ability to work steady shifts and communicate effectively during interviews

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in printing, compounding, or extrusion processes
• Familiarity with tools and equipment such as slitter or adhesive coating machinery and tape measures
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and use PPE as required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Candidates should be capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds regularly. PPE will be provided and required to ensure safety compliance.
