Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and preferably a background in manual machining. Candidates should be comfortable using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and other hand tools, to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, understands the importance of precision, and takes pride in producing quality parts in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to work instructions and specifications.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and verify dimensions.
• Utilize hand tools to make adjustments, perform basic machine maintenance, and assist with tooling changes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and dimensional specifications.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and maintain accurate measurements.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, quality issues, or out-of-tolerance parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow established safety procedures and production schedules.
• Work with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
