Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a Machine Operating position in Windsor, CT.
Title: Machine Operator
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Shift: 6am - 6pm, rotating schedule
Starting pay: $18+/hour
Benefits offered include medical insurance and sick pay.
SUMMARY: Performs responsible manual and machine operator tasks in the setup, maintenance and operation of cutters, collators and folders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Review and interpret instructions; order materials; complete production records • Perform process related troubleshooting and correction to ensure dimensions and quality of piece • Hand gather items from conveyor, load into trays • Keep work area neat and orderly • Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company
COMPETENCIES: • Ability to apply written instructions to operation and quality control standards • Reliability through attendance, punctuality and attention to work • Positive safety attitude
