Do you want to join the Cordant team?ResponsibilitiesDiagnosing machinery problems based upon vibration data, operational data, and customer communications.Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service.Completing timely reports that identify findings and provide recommendations to the customer.Building relationships with customers to provide a high level of service delivery, becoming their trusted advisor for their rotating equipment health.Calculating and overseeing placement of balance weights.Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures.QualificationsHave a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering a plus).Have minimum 2 years of industry experience.Be available for extensive travel (up to 70%) and significant over‑time (paid).Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport).Be eligible to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential).Be eligible to travel overseas and/or work on offshore platforms on occasion.Desired CharacteristicsTheoretical and practical knowledge of reliability services.ISO certification for vibration analysis.Demonstrated authority and assurance in dealing with people.Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel.Experience working under stressful working conditions.Project management skills.Solid computer skills using MS Office software.Mechanical troubleshooting skills. “Hands‑on approach”.Experience reading, interpreting, and understanding mechanical prints.Knowledge of rotating machinery operation and control systems.Knowledge of machinery protection and management systems.Knowledge of or experience with at least one or more of the following: mechanical vibration, rotating machinery vibration and/or diagnostics, rotodynamic analysis, PdM data acquisition/evaluation, machinery balancing and alignment.Knowledge of Bently Nevada products and Cordant services.Basic familiarity with computer network systems.BenefitsContemporary work‑life balance policies and wellbeing activities.Comprehensive private medical care options.Safety net of life insurance and disability programs.Tailored financial programs.Additional elective or voluntary benefit.Baker Hughes Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
