Summary: Responsible for safe, and effective operation of manual, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC controlled machinery for the purposes of manufacturing springs. We want to see you embrace and immerse yourself in the assigned company’s culture. Primary Responsibilities: - Setup and operate a variety of machinery used in the production of precision parts.
- Use standard inspection tools (ring, plug, micrometers, calipers, bore gages, optical comparator).
- Input CNC programs as needed.
- Participates in lean events, design reviews, cost reductions, cycle time savings, and training.
- Understand and follow established quality and safety standards.
- Follow approved processes to provide finished goods with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.
- Keep an organized work area in order to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
- Interact daily with production coordinators to communicate progress and take additional instruction.
- Performs all other assignments as requested by management
