Machinist – 2nd Shift

Do you enjoy figuring out how to make the part, not just loading a machine and pressing cycle start?

I’m recruiting an experienced Machinist for an established industrial equipment manufacturer. This is a 2nd-shift, job-shop environment with a good mix of CNC and manual machining.

You’ll work on one-off parts and small production runs, setting up and operating mills and lathes, reading engineering drawings, making G/M-code adjustments, and inspecting your own work.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of job-shop machining experience
• CNC setup and programming experience
• Manual machining skills
• Mills and lathes
• G/M-code knowledge
• GD&T and blueprint reading
• Micrometers, calipers and bore gauges
• Experience machining a variety of materials
