Our client helps manufacturer production lines for companies in the can industry. They are looking to add a Machinist to their operation. Someone in this role will work on CNC Mill and lathe equipment, as well as grinding, wire, and sinking machines.
* Set up, adjust and monitor machines according to provided specifications * Inspect parts and make adjustments to ensure quality is maintained * Transport completed parts to next work centers * Complete basic maintenance on machines
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of machinist work experience * High School Diploma/GED required * Able to edit CNC programs at controls * Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be capable of using measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges and calipers
