Fives Group is seeking a Machinist who can setup CNC machines and perform manual machining using lathes, mills and bridgeport machines.

Summary:
In this role, the CNC Operator will set-up and operate the CNC grinding machine. The candidate will need to inspect the finished parts using various inspection equipment to ensure each part meets the customers' prints.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret customer drawings and prints.
- Responsible for verification of CNC machined parts
- Set-up and operate CNC machines, mills and lathes efficiently & effectively.
- Inspect tool geometry using basic measuring tools.
- Programming edits as needed to obtain desired tool geometry.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Some daily and weekend overtime may be required.

Education & Work Experience:
- Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- 2+ year manufacturing experience preferred.
- General knowledge of CNC controls and G code
- Experience working with tight tolerance parts.
