CNC Machinist

Location: Winsted, CT

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Compensation: Up to $35/hr DOE + Shift Differential for 2nd & 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Machine precision components to tight tolerances
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
• Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Monitor part quality and make necessary tooling and offset adjustments
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Experience performing machine setups and adjustments
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of GD&T
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Aerospace, turbine, or other precision manufacturing experience preferred
