Machinist - Level 1/Apprentice

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate various machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality targets.

The annual base salary range for this position is $41,900.00 to $62,800.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. • Proven experience operating machining equipment and following technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and the ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Familiarity with machine maintenance procedures to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Basic understanding of safety standards and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
