What You'll Be Doing

As a CNC Machinist, you'll play a critical role in manufacturing high-precision components that require exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes or CNC mills
• Producing precision-machined components from aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Performing machine setups and making tooling adjustments as needed
• Conducting first article and in-process inspections
• Verifying dimensions, tolerances, runout, and overall part quality
• Using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators
• Supporting a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment with multiple daily setups
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workspace

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years of CNC machining experience
• Experience with CNC Lathes or CNC Mills
• Ability to perform machine setups independently
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision-machined components
• Ability to perform quality inspections and verify completed work
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Preferred Experience

• Fanuc controls
• First Article Inspection (FAI)
• G-code editing or troubleshooting
• Experience working with aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium
• Runout and concentricity verification
• Air gauging experience
• Aerospace, medical device, defense, or other precision manufacturing environments
