Mail sorter

Job Title: Mail Sorter – Warehouse- Re-ocurring every beginning of the month. 

Shifts Available: Morning shft $15 and Evening/ 3rd shift  $17 **this is a project, that can last between 1 and 2 weeks**

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Mail Sorters to join our warehouse team. This position involves sorting, organizing, scanning, and preparing mail and packages for distribution. Ideal candidates are reliable, comfortable performing repetitive tasks, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming mail, letters, and packages by ZIP code, destination, or designated category.
• Scan, label, and organize mail for accurate processing and distribution.
• Load, unload, and move mail containers or packages as needed.
• Inspect mail for proper labeling and identify damaged or incorrectly sorted items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, mail sorting, production, or material-handling experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the assigned shift.

Available Shifts

• Morning Shift: Early morning through afternoon.
• Evening Shift: Afternoon through evening.
• 3rd Shift: Overnight through early morning.

Exact shift hours and days will be provided during the hiring process.

Work Environment

Fast-paced warehouse environment requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and consistent productivity. Training on company procedures and mail-sorting equipment will be provided as needed
