Mainframe CICD Engineer - remote (Can be your flexible second job)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mainframe CICD Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position with shift flexibility, making it an ideal second job for individuals seeking supplemental income. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications and infrastructure on Mainframes. Key responsibilities include working with ZOS COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, SDF II, REXX, CLSTs, and more. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in version control/change management, deployment using IBM Rational Product Suite, managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, performing code debugging and automated unit testing, and engaging with Snowflake schema. Other tasks may include DevOps CI/CD implementation, containerization, knowledge of Gitlab Runner and Jenkins, Ansible-based deployment, infrastructure connectivity, performance analysis, and disaster recovery test management.

Candidate Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in software application development and infrastructure on Mainframes.
• Proficiency in ZOS COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, SDF II, REXX, and CLSTs is essential.
• Additionally, experience with IBM Rational, Jenkins, and Snowflake schema is required.
