Mainframe Developer with AI

Job Title: Mainframe Developer (AI/GenAI Experience)

• Location: Alpharetta ,GA ( 3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and perform impact analysis.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications.
• Develop and enhance programs using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Create and maintain batch jobs, procedures, and utilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout SDLC phases.
• Support application deployments and post-production activities.
• Prepare technical design and support documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
• Experience in application development, enhancement, and production support.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release processes.
• Experience with IBM Mainframe environments, including z/OS, TSO, and ISPF.
