Provide a short description of the Position: NYS DOL support in a multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex network/systems environments. Primary point of contact for zOS Operating Systems

Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: " Perform problem determination and resolution " Participate in Disaster Recovery tests " Participate in On-call rotation " Perform Security Healthchecking " Participate in Audits. " Participate and as required manage activities related to the installation, customization and management of the zOS operating system. " Coordinate activities with support staff to ensure appropriate support is provided. " Proactively monitor networks working with the Enterprise Network teams and developers to identify, manage and correct issues. " Work independently to diagnose and correct problems as they arise within the system. " Mentor state staff. " Monitor CICS regions.
