We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Associate to support the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure. In this role, you'll work closely with our maintenance team to perform preventive and corrective maintenance while helping ensure equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
This position is designed to support succession planning within the Maintenance department — you'll cross-train with senior maintenance personnel to build a strong working knowledge of our equipment, processes, and facility operations, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility over time.
What You'll Do
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing issues in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist with diagnosing equipment failures and implementing long-term corrective solutions.
• Support installation, setup, and relocation of machinery and equipment as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of equipment to proactively identify maintenance needs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment downtime issues with urgency and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
• Learn existing maintenance systems, procedures, vendor relationships, and facility operations from senior maintenance staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements, equipment reliability, and cost savings.
• Participate in on-call, overtime, weekend, or shift coverage as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school, vocational training, or certifications in maintenance-related fields preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Electrical certification or licensing preferred.
Competencies
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and willingness to learn leadership responsibilities over time.
Technical Skills
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
• Forklift, lift equipment, or welding experience is a plus.
Work Environment
• Primarily a manufacturing and facility environment that may include noise, heat, machinery, and varying temperatures.
