What You'll Do

• Lead all maintenance operations to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances, or oversee licensed pros when needed.
• Prepare apartments for new residents (painting, carpet cleaning, etc.) to give them a fresh welcome.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs of the property, inside and out.
• Manage maintenance records, budgets, preventative maintenance schedules, and inventory.
• Partner with vendors and contractors to get bids, manage projects, and ensure quality work.
• Keep us in compliance with safety regulations and disaster preparedness plans.
• Support residents and staff with quick responses to work orders and facility needs.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a similar setting.
• Skills in at least two of the following: carpentry, painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or refurbishing.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and tasks independently.
• Friendly, respectful demeanor, especially when interacting with residents and families.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and safely operate tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA, Life Safety Code, and assisted living regulations (or willingness to learn).
• Previous experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or property management.
• Comfortable using basic computer programs (TELS) to track maintenance logs and budgets.
• A can-do attitude, calm under pressure, and a commitment to teamwork.
