Pay: $17.50/hr or more, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Job Description

Associated Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Fairbury, NE! This position is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and experience maintaining manufacturing equipment. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, diagnose equipment issues and complete mechanical repairs to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. Some general building and facility maintenance may also be required.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime.

• Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections and scheduled servicing.

• Repair and maintain plant machinery, tools and facility equipment.

• Assist with general building maintenance and facility upkeep as needed.

• Identify potential equipment problems and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues.

• Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable, detail-oriented and safety-conscious.

• Must wear steel-toed shoes. Dress code includes jeans and a shirt.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $17.50/hr or more depending on experience.

• Hours: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM.

• No weekends!

• Performance Reviews: After 60 days, 6 months and annually thereafter.
