What We’re Looking For:Fredericksburg Enterprises, Inc. is seeking self-motivated individuals with strong customerservice skills and hotel maintenance experience to join our team.Responsibilities:- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to,guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficientmanner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry,plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attentionQualifications:- Advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general buildingmaintenance or construction, or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Previous background from the extended stay industry or apartment building maintenancepreferred.- Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electricity, and equipment mechanics.- Reading and writing abilities are required in order to receive instructions for the dayand/or to read equipment manuals including safety information.- Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.- Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility.- Will be required to regularly use commercial chemicals- Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.Industry:HospitalityEmployment Type:Full Time & Part Time
