Maintenance - Full-Time

Job Summary:

Fort William Henry Hotel Resort is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout our hotel and property to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and employees.

Salary: Starting at $20  to $25 per hour based on experience and expertise. 

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities.

Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues.

Complete preventative maintenance inspections and routine repairs.

Perform painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including snow removal when needed.

Follow all safety procedures and hotel standards.

Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

Previous maintenance experience preferred, ideally in a hotel or commercial property setting.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs. 

Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.

Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.

Dependable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
