General Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist’s role is to support the Maintenance Department and Director of Engineering by assisting with various duties. Applicants must have basic knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintaining digital inventory records.
· The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that each spare part taken is properly checked out and logged.
· Responsible for reordering/restocking parts as applicable in order to maintain current inventory to ensure that the maintenance department does not run out of supplies/spares.
· Responsible for ensuring that each tool is accounted for and turned in daily. Required to verify that all tools are in good working condition as they are turned back in.
· Responsible for the separation of food-grade/non-food-grade lubricants, oils, and chemicals.
· Responsible for food safety.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
· Minimum 3 years of inventory control experience or an applicable degree.
· Basic data entry and computer skills are required.
· Must be capable of managing physical and electronic files/records proficiently.
· Basic knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical components.
· Bilingual preferred but not required.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be able to effectively work in a team environment.
