Maintenance Journeyman

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations and production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, electrical and mechanical expertise, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $35.44 – 6 week: $36.75 – 90 days: $40.7

What's the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery, plant equipment, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize production downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment while interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Complete work orders, PM documentation, spare parts inventory management, and maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and support plant operations in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Specialized training in Electrical and Industrial Machinery Mechanics.
• Journeyman-level experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC systems.
• Proficiency in welding, building maintenance, and forklift operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, climb ladders, work in varying weather conditions, and provide personal tools.
