Summary of Position: Responsible for ensuring all goals and objectives of the Maintenance Department are achieved in a timely, cost-effective and quality-oriented manner. Must be adept at managing budgets, leading and developing maintenance staff into a strong performing team and possess the ability to complete a variety of maintenance tasks. Responsibilities: Ensure that all maintenance team members are properly qualified and trained for their various assignments Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment by following established inspection procedures Must be capable of “hands on repairs” in most maintenance disciplines and be available to assist other maintenance staff with related tasks such as general painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, concrete, heating, welding, roofing and other related jobs including landscaping and care and maintenance of all restroom facilities.
