Maintenance Machinist

Pay: $35–$48/hour DOE + Robust Benefits Package

Location: Windsor, CO
Shift: Monday–Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

How you will spend your time as a Maintenance Machinist:

• Design and fabricate machined parts and manufacturing tools using lathes, mills, drills, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and process equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Support equipment installations, modifications, and improvement projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintain documentation and records in compliance with GMP and company standards.
• Maintain spare parts and tooling inventory for machine shop operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Assist with training and sharing knowledge across the maintenance team.

Skills & experience we would like you to have as a Maintenance Machinist:

• 6+ years of machinist experience supporting manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering environments.
• Experience operating manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
• High mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an active manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on machining, fabrication, and welding experience (TIG, MIG, and stick).
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
• Advanced troubleshooting, fabrication, and repair capabilities across complex manufacturing equipment and systems are preferred.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring technicians, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, engineering teams, and cross-functional departments preferred.
• Pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• SolidWorks or similar CAD experience preferred.
