SUMMARY SCOPE OF ROLE The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel engineering department, attaining hotel and departmental goals, and adhering to company standards. Supervises, develops and maintains ongoing maintenance operation for hotel, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventive maintenance, hotel rooms, HVAC units, ice machines, pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc. MINIMUM EDUCATION/RELEVANT WORK QUALIFICATIONS 4 years hands on experience in commercial property and/or residential maintenance operations required Previous HVAC experience required Previous pool operator experience desired but not required 2-year relevant degree from an accredited institution desired ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
