The Maintenance Manager will lead all maintenance operations within our food manufacturing client's facility, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe, efficient production environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and proven experience managing maintenance teams—ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
Maintenance scheduling — Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
Team leadership — Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians, ensuring strong performance and technical growth.
Facility inspections — Perform routine inspections to identify issues and ensure timely corrective action.
Cross‑department coordination — Partner with production and quality teams to plan maintenance with minimal operational disruption.
Budget management — Oversee maintenance spending, including parts procurement and equipment investments.
Safety compliance — Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety, regulatory, and food safety standards.
Recordkeeping — Maintain accurate logs of work orders, inspections, repairs, and equipment history.
Continuous improvement — Drive initiatives to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance.
Emergency response — Troubleshoot and resolve urgent maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
5+ years of maintenance management experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance methodologies, and safety regulations.
Demonstrated leadership and team‑building capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
