About Us:
We are a rapidly-growing food manufacturer specializing in ready-to-eat meals, salads, and side dishes. With our most recent expansion to a new facility, we are seeking a talented Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to secure uninterrupted production processes and provide technical support to the production staff. This position is for the first shift starting at 7.30pm and ending around 5pm. As a company committed to delivering high-quality food products to our customers, we are looking for a dynamic individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and set correct priorities.
Knowledge, skills, tasks, responsibilities:
Ability to familiarize yourself with existing machinery as well as connect/setup new machinery as required
Fix basic breakages such as walls, leaking pipes, connectors, bearings, lights and other mechanical issues
Experience with basic Industrial Electricity, able to trace and identify electrical sources and identify voltage. Experienced changing Motor, Contactors, Starters, Relays, and other electrical components frequently used in an industrial environment.
Knowledge and basic understanding of PLC’s, VFD’s, and Servo Motors.
Experience with Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems, including understanding of basic system components.
Basic Welding Skills
Basic Plumbing Skills
Must be able to read Technical Manuals and Mechanical and Electrical Drawings/Schematics.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools commonly found in typical maintenance shops.
Experience of Safe Work Practices of an Industrial Mechanic. Familiarity of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours, able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs), use ladders, work in hot or cold conditions.
Must be able to conduct business in a professional manner with internal and external contacts.
