Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (Automation)
Location: Hartville, OH
Salary: $26 to 32/hour W2
Duration: 6-12 months Contract

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with experience in industrial automation to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support safe, efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Diagnose issues with PLCs, sensors, motors, VFDs, and HMIs.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs promptly.
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain maintenance records using a CMMS.
Follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.

Qualifications
High school diploma or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with automated equipment and PLC-controlled machinery.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, VFDs, and CMMS preferred.
Robotics or PLC programming experience is a plus.
