Maintenance Mechanic

Manufacturing plant located in Hauppauge, NY seeks motivated, reliable and energetic team player with strong mechanical aptitude. This individual should have good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. This individual will be responsible for product change over, daily machine set up, adjustments and have the ability to maintain and repair production machinery and related equipment. This individual will help to maintain proper machine functionality to decrease waste and increase uptime. This individual will be responsible for Preventative Maintenance Tasks and the continuous review of machine safety feature functionality.

Requirements:
-Ability to use Bridgeport or mill
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Dependability
-Fluent English and Spanish is a plus
-Knowledge of computer systems

-Knowledge in PLC programming
-Minimum of (3) years related experience
-Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical skills required
-Ability to use hand and power tools
-Sound troubleshooting skills and ability to solve problems
-Must be highly organized and a quick learner
-Must have own transportation
-Must be a team-player with excellent communication skills
-Must be able to work a full-time position
