The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of building & mechanical equipment used for processing in an industrial laundry setting. Candidates should possess building/ mechanical maintenance & repair knowledge, and a thorough professional mindset with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve. Candidates should be detail-oriented w/ ability to work autonomously and comply with all health and safety guidelines.Job ResponsibilitiesServicing/maintaining equipment (including motors, conveyor system, HVAC system, compressors, & production machinery)Performing general building electrical & plumbing maintenanceCompleting Machinery & Building Maintenance LogsCommunicating detailed progress on projects in progressInspecting, assessing functionality, troubleshooting, & repairing production machinerySurveying buildings to ensure they are consistent with health/safety standardsInstallation or adjustments of mechanical parts using hand & machine toolsConducting general upkeep procedures & other tasks as assigned QualificationsMust have High School Diploma or GEDMust have 2+ years' maintenance technician experience & provide own toolsAbility to work 1st Shift (3a-11:30a* flex) OR 2nd Shift (10a-8p) onsite daily in the Indianapolis, IN facility and some weekends when needed Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & industrial control systemsWorking knowledge of hand & stationary toolsGood communication, time management & problem-solving skillsAbility to lift & manipulate heavy equipmentFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards & regulationsSecondary education/degree or certification in mechanical maintenance technology or relevant field a plus!Boiler technical skills a plus!Must be able & willing to pass a background check & drug screen (hair)BenefitsLife Insurance, 401K Match, 401K, Medical, Dental, VisionAbout CompanyMorgan Services is a family-owned textile company with a long and distinguished heritage in the specialty laundry field.
