Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in distribution and maintenance services, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the facility operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Valencia, CA

Pay Range: $34-37/hour

Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Assist the current Maintenance Mechanic with routine in-house maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Perform basic compliance and regulatory inspections, ensuring documentation is completed and filed properly.
• Support preventative maintenance activities and coordinate with outside service providers/vendors.
• Handle small-scale plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Manage communication with third-party vendors and serve as a point of contact for service providers within the facility.

What's Needed?

• At least 2 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance.
• Basic troubleshooting skills in equipment, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of ladders, hand tools, PPE, and safety protocols.
• Ability to interpret instructions in various formats including written, oral, or diagrammatic.
• Flexibility to adapt to the client’s scheduling needs and work environment.
