Location:

About the Company
Join a fast-growing, well-funded nationwide meal delivery company that is transforming the way people eat. With 20+ facilities across the United States and $250M in recent funding, this company is scaling fast and investing in the right people to build a world-class maintenance operation. Their Brooklyn facility is a high-volume commercial kitchen producing chef-made, ready-to-eat meals at scale. This is a company with real momentum, strong leadership, and a genuine path to becoming a direct full-time employee. Perform well and you convert directly onto their team.

Overview
We're seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Maintenance Planner to join the facilities/maintenance team at our Brooklyn facility. This is not a hands-on repair role — this is the person who keeps the entire maintenance operation organized, efficient, and running like a machine. You will own the work order management system, drive PM compliance, coordinate with vendors, and help the team reduce downtime and control costs. If you love living in a CMMS, analyzing data, and making a maintenance team run better — this role is for you.

Schedule
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the work order management system (CMMS) — tracking equipment status, open work orders, and downtime
  • Coordinate with the maintenance tech team to ensure preventive maintenance (PM) schedules are being followed and completed on time
  • Work with vendors to schedule repairs, negotiate costs, and drive repair spend down
  • Order parts and maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Track, analyze, and report on equipment downtime, repair costs, and parts spend
  • Partner with the Facilities Manager to identify trends and opportunities to improve equipment uptime and reduce costs
  • Maintain accurate documentation across all maintenance activity
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on CMMS/work order management system experience — this is the core of the role
  • Experience in a food production, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations environment — required
  • Strong vendor management and communication skills
  • Highly organized, analytical, and data-driven — you will spend the majority of your time on a computer
  • Experience coordinating preventive maintenance schedules for a maintenance or facilities team
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, team-oriented — strong culture fit
  • Reliable commute to Brooklyn, NY
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with Fiix, EAM Infor, FMX, Maximo, or similar CMMS platforms
  • Experience tracking KPIs such as PM compliance, MTBF, and equipment downtime
  • Background in food safety compliance (GMP, SQF, HACCP)
Compensation: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
