JOB TITLE: Maintenance Project Manager

We are seeking a Maintenance Project Manager to own maintenance and equipment-related projects from planning through completion. This individual will focus on project execution rather than routine operational support, coordinating outside resources, materials, timing, and equipment availability to move critical work forward efficiently. Over time, the position may expand into broader engineering-focused project responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Lead maintenance and equipment projects from initial planning through completion.
- Coordinate equipment availability and planned downtime with internal operational teams.
- Identify, engage, and manage outside contractors and vendors required for project execution.
- Determine the skilled trades and external resources needed for each project.
- Coordinate the sourcing and purchase of required parts, materials, and equipment.
- Build project schedules that minimize disruption to normal operations, including work outside standard operating hours when needed.
- Prioritize competing maintenance projects based on urgency, equipment availability, and operational impact.
- Combine related repairs or improvements during planned equipment outages whenever practical.
Qualifications- Experience independently leading maintenance or equipment-related projects through completion.
- Experience managing outside contractors, vendors, or skilled trades.
- Experience coordinating project work around equipment availability and planned downtime.
- Experience sourcing or purchasing parts, materials, or other resources required for maintenance work.
- Experience determining the labor and trade resources needed to execute technical projects.
- Experience managing multiple maintenance projects and coordinating overlapping scopes of work.
