Description

We're looking for a Maintenance & Reliability Manager with five plus years into manufacturing environment to lead and optimize equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll drive efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure a safe and productive work environment through strategic maintenance programs and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to ensure plant equipment runs safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and manage maintenance programs across production areas, coordinating both internal teams and external contractors.
  • Enhance asset performance and reliability by reducing downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Oversee scheduling, performance reviews, and employee training to support a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Maintain an organised inventory of replacement and repair parts for equipment.
  • Control costs and optimize purchasing decisions while staying within budget constraints
  • Lead capital expansion projects and oversee related initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards while meeting operational targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts through problem-solving teams, Kaizen events, and TPM activities.
  • Foster a safety-first culture by implementing proactive accident prevention, equipment maintenance, and incident investigation strategies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement long-term solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Minimum two years of direct managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, TPM, and RCM principles.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, electrical control panels, and power presses.
