Pay information: $26.00 - 30.00 an hour
Shift: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Our Maintenance Specialist IV are responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of campus buildings and surrounding areas. Maintaining the campus with a high level of pride is integral to the success of our students who are looking to change their lives through technical training. The ideal candidate has proficiency in several of the repair and construction trades such as painting and dry wall repair, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC repair. Basic computer skills are needed and experience using forklifts and Scissor lifts are a plus. Candidates must be able to safely and efficiently work independently and have a team player approach.

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
3-5 years of experience in building maintenance
Forklift certification required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential.
Ability to provide flexible and adaptable work schedules.
Ability to maintain professional image and work environment.
Must possess good communication, planning, organization and judgement skills
Intermediate to advance level construction, painting, plumbing, electrical and welding skills
Must be able to safely and properly use hand tools.
Experience with electrical test equipment and welding equipment is a plus.

Frequently (up to 60% of workday)
Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Works with and near chemicals in a controlled environment.
Regular business hours with occasional overtime required.
