Job Description
Our client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a dedicated Maintenance Specialist who can assist with general labor and basic repairs between two lovely residential properties located in Mentor and Cleveland.
- The majority of work will be completed in Mentor but the successful candidate must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to the Cleveland property when needed.
- This is a temporary position paying $23 - $25/hr. with a schedule of 30-40hrs a week, Mon - Fri. See below and apply today!
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Handling all work assignments in a timely, professional manner.
- Refurbishing vacancies (turnovers) including painting, cleaning, and general maintenance repairs.
- Maintaining property appearance including monitoring grounds and common areas on a daily basis.
- Performing general repairs to units including, but not limited to: interior/exterior painting, repair or adjusting entry doors, replacing light bulbs or fixtures.
- Performing general repairs to units including, but not limited to: patching and painting of drywall, repairs or changing of locks, light plumbing of sinks and drains, electrical work such as changing window treatments, outlets and fixtures.
- Keeping accurate records of work completed, and control inventory expenses.
- Ensuring that all fire and building codes are adhered to; notifying your supervisor immediately of any potential safety or building code violations.
- Maintaining integrity of the community by ensuring confidentiality of resident and company information.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must have basic electrical, plumbing, and painting experience visible on your updated resume.
- Must have valid driver’s license and registered, inspected motor vehicle to travel between two properties.
- Must have own tools and mechanical ability.
- Mechanical ability, as well as general knowledge of electrical & plumbing.
- HVAC systems is a ++++, but not required.
- Personable, professional attitude.
