The Maintenance Supervisor directs and coordinates maintenance department activities, functions and staff in a long term care facility. Supervises staff in maintaining, servicing and operating all facility equipment, fixtures, grounds and ensures overall working condition and appearance of building grounds and facilities. Has a thorough knowledge of commercial building equipment, operations, can trouble shoot electric, HVAC, mechanical and plumbing infrastructure. Responsible for the day to day supervision, planning and organizing the work. Ability to provide detailed instructions and direction to staff both verbal and in writing. Can interpret and understand complex issues and problems. Ability to use computer systems and programs, MS Excel, Word etc. Reports directly to the Director of Maintenance. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this positions and able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

The Center for Disability Services, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization provides additional services through the Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center, and our affiliates: Prospect Center in Queensbury and St. Margaret’s Center in Albany.
