The building lead maintenance tech should have a thorough knowledge of boilers and chillers to maintain the building. Knowledge should include knowing how to do basic troubleshooting or when to consult with the property and regional manager if a vendor should be called, logging of all gauges, pressure switches, etc.
Responsibilities will include:
Repairing/replacements of domestic water, sewer and hot water lines.
Diagnosis and changing of vanities, toilets, faucets, stems and diverters.
Change of lights, outlets and switches.
Ability to make necessary sheetrock, spackle and paint repairs.
Appliance repairs for washers, dryers, ovens, ranges and dishwashers.
Ability to lift and deliver all incoming deliveries to their proper places.
Ability to renovate units as needed (trash out, demo walls, rerun. wiring, lay flooring, install kitchens, run water and sewer lines, toilets and vanities).
