The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible of ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery used daily to conduct normal operations runs to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventing maintenance, managing mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment as well as managing employees, budgets and cost reporting. This position requires a commitment to work in some cases extended hours during busy periods as well as being a team player dedicated to perform other related activities throughout each day.
Responsibilities
Support the installation of new machinery and ensure its ongoing maintenance.• Contribute to maintenance vision, strategy, policy, and processes to improve operational performance.• Ensure regulatory compliance for operations in consultation with the regional safety manager.• Review weekly maintenance schedules, address concerns with the operations manager, and maintain schedule compliance and priority.• Complete repairs efficiently, streamlining costs and ensuring prompt responses to emergency breakdowns.• Supply repair reports detailing tool consumption, materials, man-hours, and skills.• Review equipment history files and ensure accurate work order completion records.• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, housekeeping standards, productivity goals, and quality of work.• Investigate and implement corrective measures for near misses and safety incidents.• Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Develop and execute training plans for maintenance workers.• Assign and reassign work as per emergencies and facility priorities.• Promote communication and good relations between the operations and maintenance departments.• Maintain housekeeping, productivity, and quality of work standards, especially within mechanical maintenance.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of combined experience working as a Maintenance Supervisor in an industrial or manufacturing environment.• Proven track record of supervising personnel, assigning daily work, and managing team performance.• Hands-on experience with 3-phase motors and electrical work up to 440V.• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.• Previous experience working with Siemens Sinamics drives (preferred).• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Crane Operator certificate.• Must complete OSHA 10 Certification within the first 6 months of employment.
