Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary:

Performs supervisory, advanced technical and administrative supervision for Cogeneration Plant Maintenance & Operations shops. Provides support as directed to the Sr, Manager & Maintenance Manager. Directs and schedules the preventative maintenance and repair of Plant equipment. Assists Plant Management in the design, planning, installation, and commissioning of planned Plant Expansion.

Qualifications:

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree .

Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science or Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Marine or Facilities Engineering. EIT or Licensed Professional Engineer. Certified Energy Manager.

Required Experience:
5 years experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of major MEP equipment including high pressure steam vessels, large tonnage chillers, and associated steam, plumbing, and electrical distribution systems.

Preferred Experience:
5 years experience in the operation, maintenance, & repair of Powerhouse and/or Steam Plant equipment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS - Certificate of Qualification for Refrigeration System Operator of the City of New York - E.P.A. CFC Technician Certification.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Stationary Engineer's License, SCADA, BMS, Water Treatment.

Additional Information:

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $117,100.00 to USD $137,100.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
