Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a Fortune 1000 manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of technicians in a heavy machine driven Department. The ideal candidate demonstrates  leadership, is an effective communicator with the ability to implement change which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Valley, NE

Pay Range: $80k-$110k/yr + incentive
Relocation assistance available

What’s the Job?

• Administer the preventive maintenance program for all production equipment.
• Organizes and controls the use of maintenance resources to improve maintenance costs and equipment reliability.
• Instills an orientation for safety, environmental compliance and quality service in all aligned personnel.
• Must be able to work in the Plant a minimum of 5 days per week and have ability to be on call as needed on off shift and weekends
• Continuously observes for proper operating of assigned equipment.
• Recommend new or improved machines, equipment, and facilities as required.

What’s Needed?

• Associates Degree or Technical Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field with a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience
• 2 years' of previous work experience in a leadership role
• Engineering knowledge and ability to understand engineering drawings.
• Technical and human-relations skills necessary to train, motivate and lead employees.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistic operations environment.
• Practical hands on experience in Lean Manufacturing.
