The Maintenance Team Leader is the first level of operational leadership at the customer site. The role coordinates safe and effective maintenance execution, provides technical direction to the assigned team, ensures continuity between shifts, maintains accurate work-order and performance reporting, and serves as the daily interface among technicians, the customer, and Site Management.
Qualifications
Education / Technical Training
Completed Technical Education in Electrical Technology, Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related industrial maintenance field, depending on the discipline.
Technical or supervisory training related to maintenance coordination, safety, and team leadership is preferred.
Required / Preferred Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices within the applicable discipline:
Mechanical profile: mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, bearings, gearboxes, alignment, lubrication, technical drawings, preventive and corrective maintenance.
Electrical profile: industrial electrical systems, electrical panels, PLC/HMI, industrial networks, sensors, drives, instrumentation, preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
For both profiles:
Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, work orders, maintenance records, and equipment history.
Knowledge of LOTO, Work Permit / APT practices, PPE requirements, and applicable OSHA standards.
Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement methods.
Ability to use maintenance management systems / CMMS and standard reporting tools.
Good proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in an industrial customer environment.

Experience
5 years minimum preferred in industrial maintenance, including significant shop-floor experience in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance.
Previous experience as Lead Technician, Team Leader, Maintenance Coordinator, Supervisor, or equivalent leadership position is strongly preferred.
Experience working directly on a customer site / outsourced maintenance contract is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Ability to communicate, read, and write effectively in the working language required by the assigned customer site.
Valid authorization to work in the country of assignment.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally or to other sites when required by the assignment.
Ability to complete customer-mandated onboarding, safety training, background screening, and site-access requirements, where applicable.
Availability for shift coverage, planned overtime, emergency support, and occasional call-in work when required and permitted by applicable policy and law.
