Job Description
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and renovate manufacturing equipment, machine tools, and auxiliary systems.
Support maintenance of plant facilities, utilities, HVAC systems, and building infrastructure.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC equipment issues.
Perform equipment installations, relocations, rigging, and service layouts.
Test equipment following repairs, modifications, and installations to ensure proper operation.
Create, read, update, and maintain technical documentation, schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
Participate in machine rebuild projects, including documentation of all work performed.
Install and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, PLC, and electrical systems.
Diagnose, repair, modify, and upgrade CNC equipment and control systems.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for technical support, service, and replacement parts.
Obtain vendor quotes and assist with repair planning activities.
Perform preventative maintenance and complex troubleshooting activities.
Install and maintain motors, starters, breakers, lighting systems, and electrical distribution equipment.
Perform basic cutting, welding, and fabrication work.
Utilize maintenance software to document maintenance activities and work orders.
Train, mentor, and support lower-level maintenance personnel, apprentices, and new employees.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Support 6S initiatives and promote teamwork throughout the organization.
Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Apprenticeship completion or 8+ years of related maintenance experience.
Advanced knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to obtain an Electrician License.
Experience with CNC machinery, PLC controls, and industrial automation systems.
Ability to create, interpret, and revise technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC systems, facility utilities, and machine rebuilding.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments, testing devices, and maintenance tools.
Working knowledge of shop mathematics, formulas, charts, and technical references.
Strong communication and mentoring capabilities.
Commitment to ongoing cross-training and technical development.
